Ottolenghi Sicily Vase 04

Vase 04, the Otto Lady Fish, is one of four vases in the Sicily collection – a collaboration with Ivo Bisignano and Serax. They are based on the Testa di Moro – Sicilian hand painted ceramic posts in the shape of crowned heads that adorn Italian balconies, and inspired Ivo to create his own, with a slightly surreal twist. Combined with the Ottolenghi exuberance, and decorated with colourful spots and brush strikes in an eclectic palette of primary and secondary colours, the vases are a cheerful ode to a distinctly Sicilian aesthetic.
